Community Support

Every year during Operation Back to School, BCBSNM employees raise money for school supplies to help children in need, and deliver the supplies to schools across the state

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) is proud to sponsor initiatives and events that help communities throughout the state. We are dedicated to helping New Mexico be a healthier place to live, work, and play.

Health and Wellness

BCBSNM helps members and communities stay healthy by supporting organizations committed to:

• Promoting a healthy lifestyle — helping people understand the value of making healthy choices and
• Increasing awareness and understanding of living with chronic conditions.

Education

BCBSNM has provided funding for educational development programs, especially programs focused on increasing access to health care.

Youth and Family

BCBSNM provides organizations with funding to assist New Mexican families and children, including adolescents. We strive to help young people and their families achieve their highest potential.

Human Services

BCBSNM continues to actively reach out to improve the health and well being of communities throughout New Mexico.

Economic Development

BCBSNM has sponsored organizations that strive to make our community world class and a safe environment to live, and a place where businesses can support local employment.
