BCBSNM Adopts YDI Families for the Holidays

Albuquerque, NM — Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) employees worked with the Youth Development, Inc. (YDI), Headstart program to provide holiday presents for families in need. For the fifth year, BCBSNM donated to the Adopt-a-Family program during the holidays. BCBSNM teams provided holiday presents for 28 YDI families, including families from the Albuquerque, Espanola, and Taos Headstart programs.

BCBSNM employee teams receive wish lists of items the family might enjoy or might need. Employees raise money with various fundraisers, but often personally buy gifts to fulfill the entire wish list. BCBSNM delivered this year’s gifts to the YDI Headquarters on December 17, with many families on hand to receive their presents.
