Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico Supports the American Red Cross in New Mexico to Help Firefighters and New Mexico Residents Affected by the Wildfires
Albuquerque, NM — Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) is delivering much needed assistance to first responders as well as victims impacted by wildfires around the state with a $25,000 donation to the American Red Cross in New Mexico. The donation will be used to support relief efforts for firefighters as well as victims impacted by wildfires in Los Alamos and other fires around the state.
"Our condolences go out to our fellow New Mexico neighbors whose lives and property have been impacted by the fires," said Liz Watrin, President of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico. "As the largest commercial health plan serving New Mexico, we are committed to working with the Red Cross in New Mexico to provide the necessary resources for those affected by these devastating events."
