Spanish-Language Health Insurance Marketplace Now Open For Enrollment

Dec. 18, 2013

The Spanish-language version of the federal government's Health Insurance Marketplace website is now open for enrollment. You can access the website through the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange. On CuidadodeSalud.gov, you can:

  • Compare individual health plans and prices from participating health insurance companies in New Mexico
  • Learn if you are eligible for a government program or financial assistance to help you pay for the coverage you choose
  • Enroll in a plan using the Spanish application

The health insurance plans found on the new website offer comprehensive individual coverage, from doctors to medications to hospital visits.

Call Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico at 888-809-2799, where Spanish-speaking agents are available to assist you. Be sure to review our health insurance shopping guide in Spanish to get the facts you need to find an individual health plan that best fits you and your budget.

Enroll by Dec. 23, 2013 for coverage that begins Jan. 1, 2014. The open enrollment period lasts until March 31, 2014.
