- General Services (emergency treatment, general anesthesia, etc.)
- Periodontal Services
- Restorative Services
- Orthodontics*
- Prosthodontic Services*
With BCBSNM dental coverage:
- Your employees can check the status of their dental claims and more by logging in to our secure member portal, Blue Access® for Members.
- They can visit dental providers in or out of our network.
- They can receive dental care from any licensed dentist (no referrals are necessary), however, receiving dental care from one of our in-network dentists provides significant savings and means less paperwork for them.
- If your employees use an in-network dental provider, they won't be billed for the difference between a participating dentist's usual fees and the benefit limits for covered services, and they won't have to file claims.
- If your employees prefer the flexibility to use an out-of-network dental provider, they will usually pay the full amount for services and file a claim form, and their out-of-pocket costs may be higher.
