With HMO Blue, members have:
- Predictable copayments — members know what they'll pay for a doctor visit or a hospital admission.
- Access to a wide selection of doctors and other providers — choose from the most comprehensive provider network in New Mexico. No referrals necessary.
- A choice of Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) — plus, each member of a family can choose a different PCP.
- Coverage for preventive health care services — including physical exams, periodic health assessments, and other preventive services.
- BlueCard® program — Members who are traveling or living in another Plan's service area for less than 90 days can get help accessing health care services and take advantage of local Blue Cross and Blue Shield provider discounts.
- Away From Home Care® program — Members who are away from home for at least 90 days or longer can get nationwide access to managed care providers at a participating Blue Cross and Blue Shield HMO.
