Improved claim letters go electronic

Improved Claim LettersBlue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) knows you need information that is easy to understand. That's why we recently updated the format, tone and readability of many of our standard claim letters. You can also view those letters electronically on our secure member website, Blue Access for MembersSM.

Now, you can choose to "go paperless." Stop receiving many claim letters by mail. Instead, view them online when logged in to Blue Access for Members. Here's how:

  • At the very top of the page, click on the Settings menu
  • Choose Preferences
  • Scroll down to Go Paperless
  • Choose "Turn off paper statements"

You'll be notified via email (or text message, if you prefer) when you have a new claim letter to view.
