How to accurately measure your belly

  • Get a flexible tape measure. Stand up. Find the top of your hip bone.
  • Put the measuring tape at that spot and then bring it all the way around, level with your belly button and parallel to the floor.
  • Make sure it's not too tight and don't cheat by holding your breath and sucking in your belly.
