As a BlueNet member, you have comprehensive coverage with simple cost-sharing features when using our PPO provider network. You will pay a set copayment for some services, or meet a deductible and pay coinsurance for other services. See these plan documents for more details.
HMO Blue gives you predictable copayments, access to the most comprehensive provider network in the state with no referrals necessary, preventive health care and more. Note: If you are unsure which HMO plan you have, check the plan name on your member ID card (e.g., HMO Blue Plan 10) to make sure you select the correct one.
Away From Home Care
Guest Membership (also known as Away From Home Care) allows an HMO member to be a "guest" of a participating HMO while out of the BCBSNM service area for 90 consecutive days or more. Guest Members remain members of their BCBSNM HMO plan, and their premium continues to be paid to BCBSNM. Learn more about the Guest Membership benefit.

The New Mexico Health Insurance Alliance (NMHIA) was created by the New Mexico state legislature to help those who are unable to qualify for commercial health insurance and to provide easier small employer and individual participation requirements and no medical underwriting.
