Please Respond Quickly to Records Requests

Sometimes BCBSNM needs additional information to process your claims. That information may include medical records, lab reports, National Drug Code (NDC) numbers, or a description of services. When we send you the request, you will have the option to fax or mail the requested information to BCBSNM. However, faxing may accelerate the process. If we do not receive the information in a timely manner, your claim may be denied in total. Please help us help our members and your patients by responding promptly to our requests for additional information.
