Until recently, this Web site contained the following information: provider offices would have to meet "60% of their claims filed electronically over the last 90 days" in order to receive electronic payments from BCBSNM.
This limitation has been removed from the BCBSNM Web site. As a result of this change, a provider may at any time submit the required forms and information to request electronic payment, regardless of the volume of claims that are filed electronically. This change allows for a significant reduction in the time it takes the provider to receive payment.
