Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) and Health Care Management (HCM) have teamed with the Provider Access and Servicing Strategy (PASS) group to announce the 2008 offering of complimentary Workshops, Webshops and Education Sessions to our contracting provider community.
PASS is committed to providing Workshops, Webshops, Education Sessions and Web Sessions that will maximize your effectiveness and satisfaction in the BCBSNM networks by offering a variety of agenda topics. Listed below are the definitions of the various training opportunities that we offer so you can choose the most appropriate venue to attend:
Workshops
Workshops occur throughout the state of New Mexico. Our trainer will come to your area and conduct a training seminar for all physicians/providers in your area. Depending on the topics covered, they normally last about four hours. If you have attended one of our previous workshops, we would like to thank you. Webshop
We are excited to announce that web-based training is now available to you in the convenience of your own office. These interactive courses take place on your PC and are conducted by a live trainer to facilitate your training and make it a rewarding experience. Webshops are a combination conference call and online viewing of the educational materials presented. Depending on the topics, the sessions may last one to four hours with the added capability of logging on for your desired educational needs. The Webshop trainer will send you a timeline of agenda topics and instructions for logging on to the training after you have registered. Technical support will always be available. Education Session
An Education Session is training that normally includes one to three topics that have been requested by your office. This training may be done in person for special needs. These sessions are normally about one to two hours in length. Please contact (903) 923-2770 to request an Education Session or specialty presentation in your area. When calling, please specify the areas of interest. We will try to accommodate all requests.
Web Session
A Web Session is training that normally includes one to three topics that have been requested by your office. This training will occur online and will take between one and two hours.
