No appointment for the flu shot is needed. The public is welcome. Community resource information, health education and information about programs offered at Oasis Albuquerque will also be available.

Tuesday, Nov. 30

Where:
Oasis Albuquerque
3301 Menaul Blvd. NE #18
Albuquerque, NM

When:
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“We are proud to partner with Oasis Albuquerque to offer this community event and answer questions about open enrollment,” said BCBSNM President Janice Torrez. “Our outreach teams are in our communities statewide to provide education and resources to meet the diverse health care needs of our community.”

“Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico has partnered with and supported Albuquerque Oasis since 2015, and during that time, they have been instrumental in helping Oasis start, develop and grow a vibrant and robust health and wellness program,” said Oasis Albuquerque Executive Director Kathleen Raskob. “This partnership allows us to continue providing events like flu shot clinics, health care clinics, movement and balance classes, and the many community-centered efforts that BCBSNM so generously underwrites and promotes. We look forward to continuing to serve our community together.”

A flu shot is available at no cost with most insurance. To get a flu shot, you can also visit your primary care provider, local clinic, or a pharmacy that provides the vaccine.
