Attention Providers Contracted with BCBSNM for Blue Cross Community Centennial

For appeals timely received by BCBSNM before Sept. 23, 2016 of claims that were denied for lack of medical necessity, contracted providers must be the member’s authorized representative.

For appeals timely received by BCBSNM on and after Sept. 23, 2016, of claims that were denied for lack of medical necessity, contracted providers may appeal without being the member's authorized representative.

Further appeal information can be obtained by calling the BCBSNM Appeals Department at 1-800-205-9926 or the Customer Service number on the back of the member's ID card.
