Your 2022 Health Plan Options

Your health care coverage is your choice. Since your current health plan will no longer be available after December 31, 2021, we will be moving you to a new 2022 BCBSNM plan. You can keep this new 2022 plan or enroll in a different 2022 health plan during the Open Enrollment Period (OEP).

If you qualify for a subsidy, you can enroll for an on-Exchange plan through the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange from November 1, 2021 - January 15, 2022. If you don’t qualify for a subsidy, you can also sign up directly with a health insurance provider from November 1 - December 15, 2021.

Because your plan is ending you also qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP). This gives you extra time to buy your 2022 health plan. These dates are January 1 - February 28, 2022.

Please note, if you want coverage that starts on January 1, 2022, you must enroll in a new plan on or before December 23, 2021.

Here are your 2 choices for 2022:

Keep Your New 2022 Plan

If you’d like to keep your new 2022 plan, select this plan on the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange, enroll and pay your monthly premium bill by your due date.
