A new link to a third-party vendor, Centauri, will make it easier to determine if clients are eligible for a Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNP).
Why it matters:
D-SNP plans are currently sold in Texas.
Centauri will be emailing agents on Sept. 6 regarding who is certified to sell MAPD/PDP products. This email will include a link where you can register to use the tool to verify D-SNP eligibility.
Link should only be visible to agents who are certified to sell MAPD/PDP (Current and/or future year).
You will need to set up an account with Centauri to log in and use the tool. Single Sign-on is coming in a future iteration on or around Oct. 1.
Once logged in, you will need to enter basic client information and Centauri will determine Medicaid eligibility and let you know if your clients are eligible for D-SNP plans.
Accessing Centauri
You will be able to access the new link on Sept. 1 through Blue Access for ProducersSM and, on Sept. 17, through the Retail Producer Portal (RPP). You can also log in to Blue Access for Producers to review the new user’s guide and read the full News from the Blues newsletter.
