While it’s quicker to submit eligibility and benefit inquiries through Availity® Essentials, you can use our IVR system to submit them by phone. You can also ask questions or request a claim adjustment through IVR. You’ll need a document control number (claim number) for reference during the call. 

To access IVR: Call Provider Service Unit at 1-888-349-3706 Mondays through Fridays from 5 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

  • Provide your National Provider Identifier when prompted You may speak or enter your information by touch-tone. 
  • If you don’t have an NPI or are calling from out of state, you may say or enter your Taxpayer Identification Number when prompted by the IVR. You must specify provider type, specialty and network status to receive a quote of benefits.
