The Message This Payer application in Availity® Essentials allows providers to send secure messages to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) for claim management questions and follow along with the conversation history.
Using this option provides you the opportunity to:
- Initiate a message to BCBSNM from the Availity Claim Status tool
- Receive a response within two business days from a BCBSNM associate
- Monitor message status via a dashboard view
- View and print conversations
