Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) will be implementing our new Laboratory Benefit Management program with Avalon Health Solutions (Avalon) on Jan. 1, 2023.
Avalon will be used for claims for certain outpatient laboratory services provided to many of our commercial and BlueCard® (out of area) members.
This program does not apply at this time to government programs.
BCBSNM will offer training sessions on how to use this new program. To register, sign-up for one of the below training sessions.
- Wednesday, Nov. 16 – 1 to 2 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 7 – 1 to 2 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 14 – 1 to 2 p.m.
- Wednesday, Jan. 4 – 1 to 2 p.m.
- Wednesday, Jan. 11 – 1 to 2 p.m.
