Our thoughts are with all who have been impacted by the recent events in Silver City and the surrounding areas. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico wants to thank community members, responders, providers, employees, and others for supporting each other during this time.

If you are a BCBSNM member and need assistance, we are available to support you during this time.

Call the Customer Service number to help you:

  • Find a doctor or hospital
  • Refill a prescription if you have Prime Therapeutics®*
  • Coordinate or transition your care
  • Get a BCBSNM member ID card. 

When you call, provide either your Social Security Number or your name and date of birth so that our customer advocates can help you.  If you call after hours, please leave a message. We will return your call the next business day.

You can also print out a temporary card by logging into your account.

Use the BCBSNM App

Get mobile access to your member ID card, our Provider Finder tool and contact numbers you need. Download our free BCBSNM app from the Apple App Store  or Google Play.

  • For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.
  • For non-emergencies, call the Customer Service number on your ID card for help coordinating your health care or log into your account. 
  • Bring your BCBSNM member ID card when you get care.
