Blue Cross Group Medicare Advantage Open Access (PPO)℠ Plan

A Medicare Advantage Open Access PPO plan does not require the use of a network provider for coverage. Your benefit levels are the same if you use a network or non-network provider. You may seek care from any providers nationwide that 1) accept Medicare; 2) agree to see you as a patient; and 3) agree to bill us. Please note: even Medicare-assigned providers can decide what patients they want to see.* We recommend that you confirm with providers that they will accept your Medicare Advantage Open Access PPO plan and bill us directly. At your appointment, give the provider a copy of the Open Access Provider Notice letter that was included in your welcome guide. The information in the letter will help the provider understand your benefits. Here is a link to download and print more copies of the Open Access Provider Notice letter, if needed.

If you need to find a new provider, visit our Provider Finder at https://my.providerfinderonline.com.

If you have any questions, please call the number on the back of your member ID card.

* Out-of-network/non-contracted providers are under no obligation to treat BCBSNM members, except in emergency situations. Call Customer Service or see your Evidence of Coverage for more information, including the cost-sharing that applies to out-of-network services.
