At Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico, we are dedicated to improving the health and wellness of our members and are passionate about caring for our communities. This collective purpose drives our work in every way. Our statewide outreach and investments are designed to make measurable improvements on the health and wellness of all New Mexicans.

The 2023 corporate social responsibility report tells some of the stories of how we made a difference in the lives of those we serve.

• We invested over $1 million in statewide programs that address key social determinants of health, such as access to safe and stable housing, healthy food and economic stability.

• Our Care Van® program collaborated with community organizations and providers to deliver no-cost health screenings and immunizations to over 13,000 New Mexicans in 50 communities across the state.

• We collaborated with Heading Home and ABQ Street Connect to design and pilot a supportive program that provides housing, social services and primary care to medically complex members experiencing homelessness.
