Depending on your preference, there are some good online and offline options available for scheduling your vaccines. For vaccine finder information, visit the State of New Mexico Vaccine Registration System or call 1-855-600-3453, press option 0 for vaccine questions, and then option 4 for tech support. The call center is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

7. Why should I get the COVID-19 vaccines?
Like the flu and other viruses, you risk spreading it to other people if you don’t get vaccinated. Some people who are COVID-19 positive may not have any symptoms, or different symptoms than the most common ones. Getting the vaccines ensures the widest protection to the greatest number of people. You should ask your doctor any questions you have about the vaccines.

The best way to stop COVID-19 is to get vaccinated and to not get exposed to it. But, keep in mind, the CDC always suggests these everyday good habits to help stop the spread of breathing illnesses:

12. What do I do if BCBSNM denied my claim?
If you have had a claim for COVID-19 treatment denied, you have the right to appeal the decision. There is a process in place to ask that the claim be reviewed. Due to the pandemic some plans have appeal deadlines that have been extended 60 days after the national emergency ends.
