Behavioral Health Care

Behavioral health can affect overall health. Sometimes you may need help dealing with stress, grief, or depression. Help is also available for those facing:

  • Emotional needs or concerns
  • Mental health conditions
  • Substance abuse

Sometimes one or more of these conditions may exist at the same time. Or they may exist in addition to a physical condition. Your plan offers health care for your body and mind. We also provide Care Coordinationto help you get the care you need.

The type of help you might need depends on your personal situation. It could be counseling, treatment, in-patient or out-patient care. If you have questions about services available to you, including which services require authorization, call Member Services at 1-866-689-1523. Check the current Behavioral Health Level of Care Guidelines to learn more. If you have questions about these guidelines, ask your doctor or Care Coordinator.
